CMI Tours and Field Trips

Museums and zoos typically feature an evolutionary ‘spin’ and the ever-present ‘millions of years ago’ terminology. However, if you are aware of or are guided through the understanding behind the evolutionary interpretations, these attractions can be very educational, and a lot of fun.

CMI is offering the following tours and field trips:

Although each group (homeschool/Christian school/public school) may have varying circumstances, we include the following general guidelines for each type of tour/field trip for your planning purposes.

Minimum Number of Participants: 40 student participants.
This does not include parents, supervisors or younger siblings who will not be receiving a guidebook.

Cost: $15.00 per student participant. Fee includes the CMI guidebook and presentations by the CMI speaker. It does not include admission, lunch or transportation.
(Supervisors, teachers, parents and younger siblings only need to pay admission but will not receive a guidebook.)

Guidebooks: Guidebooks for CMI tours have been prepared specifically for each tour location. These guidebooks contain questions, mostly requiring fill-in-the-blank answers, about the exhibits. Students answer the questions by going to the exhibit and reading the relevant (often evolutionary) information. The guidebooks contain a Biblical/creationist interpretation of the information presented.

The tours are ‘self-guided’ in the sense that the guidebooks have questions relating to specific content at the exhibits that need to be visited. However, the sequence in which the exhibits are visited can be decided by each individual or family.
