Evolutionist and Atheist groups around the world are geared up in 2009 to celebrate Charles Darwin’s 200th birthday and the 150th anniversary of his book Origin of Species—a book that has caused millions to doubt the authority of Scripture.
In response to the barrage of evolutionary propaganda, Creation Ministries International (CMI) has launched its own international campaign: Deconstructing Darwin. These events, happening worldwide, are designed specifically to equip Christians with answers to refute evolution using logic and cutting-edge science.
CMI, an international Christian apologetics ministry, along with Creation Studies Institute and Creation Study Group of Greenville invite you to attend this free, fast paced, multi-day conference presented by professional and dynamic speakers who are well equipped to deliver powerful, modern presentations encompassing all aspects of the creation/evolution issue. These faith building presentations will embolden you in your witnessing and equip you with answers to some of the most-asked questions about science and the Bible.
Conference Speakers
Skip Tilton
Skip Tilton served in the US Navy for six years as a sonar technician on board a nuclear submarine. Skip graduated from Bob Jones University with a B.A. in Bible with a minor in Pulpit Speech and
later earned a Master of Ministry degree. In 1993, he became pastor of Finger Lakes Baptist Church in Geneva, NY. Skip joined Answers in Genesis (AiG) in Kentucky in 1997. There he served as a speaker and played a pivotal role in the construction of the AiG Creation Museum. In 2007 Skip joined Creation Ministries International as one of our dynamic and passionate speakers. |
Dr. Danny Faulkner
Dr. Faulkner serves on the faculty of the University of South Carolina Lancaster, where he holds the rank of professor and teaches astronomy and physics. His primary research interest is stellar astronomy,
particularly concentrating on eclipsing binary stars. Dr. Faulkner has published nearly 100 papers in the astronomy literature, as well as in creation journals. |
Tom DeRosa
Tom founded Creation Studies Institute (CSI) in 1988 and served under the late Dr. D. James Kennedy of Coral Ridge Ministries and Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church for 26 years. He is now the Executive Director of CSI, a passionate speaker and author. Tom has published several books including, Evidence for Creation and Evolution’s Fatal Fruit. |
Dr. Robert Carter
Dr Carter graduated from Georgia Tech in 1992. He then spent four years teaching high school biology, chemistry, and physics before going to the University of Miami to obtain his PhD in Marine Biology. While in Miami, he studied the genetics of pigmentation in corals and other invertebrates, designed and built an aquaculture facility for Caribbean corals, and performed well over 500 SCUBA dives. He is currently head speaker/scientist for CMI-USA in Atlanta, Georgia. |

Learn how huge mammoths standing 17 feet high, large sloths approaching two stories tall and giant like armadillos the size of Volkswagens roamed the earth during the Ice Age. See first-hand the numerous fossilized bones that where collected from a herd of mammoths that roamed Florida seeking warmth and shelter during the time that the earth was very cold. Join us as we walk back in time from a biblical perspective and see how an Ice Age came to be with all these giant creatures eventually meeting their demise. Share in the excitement with Tom DeRosa, Executive Director of Creation Studies Institute, as he relates from a creationist worldview about numerous discoveries of Ice Age Creatures found in the Peace River, southwest Florida. This program is for all ages.
