I had an interesting conversation with a Muslim once about the fall of Satan. Apparently he was kicked out of heaven for refusing to worship man, whereas the Bible clearly states he was kicked out for trying to become God, the same temptation/deception he used on Eve, and Adam who did know better, the same lie Satan uses today, you can become God.

P.S.: a Muslim is allowed to outright lie in the course of furthering Islam, a Christian is expressly forbidden to lie.

God is so full of Love, God made the laws of the world so that He could Love and therefore we could complete Him by Loving others. If Muslims do believe that God is almighty then they should acknowledge His Son who knows the Father and knows all of the decisions God has made. Not just believing in assumptions.

One thing is clear about Muslims. They reject the thought that God come down to earth in human form (and to make it worse for Muslims as a Jew). To admit that Jesus was such a being they would have to reject their Muslim faith. The two are incompatible.

In reply to her question... and asked, ‘Dad, I’ve been thinking … our bodies are unclean! Why would God, who is pure, sully himself by coming down to Earth in human form?’ .... I would say... "The same reason I would reach down and pick you up out of a mud hole and cuddle, comfort, and love you!"

Notice how in the first five paragraphs, the woman tried to blend the teachings of islam with the teachings of Christianity. Trying to blend the teachings of one religion (be it evolution, islam, or another religion) with the teachings of Christianity is just asking for trouble.

2009 was the 200th anniversaryof the birth of Charles Darwin and the 150th anniversary of The Origin of Species. In Turkey, 96% Muslim a popular science magazine had to be withdrawn because it conflicted with Koranic account of the 6 day creation. Muslims are far more believing of the 6day creation than are Christians. Do you have any explanation as to why Islam was adopted in the Middle East when Christianity had been in existance for about 400 years? Many have found Christianity wanting especially the lack of the srtict rules Islam imposes on its adherents. The Koran says many times, God is merciful and compassionate, surely that is as good as love?

The similarities between the Qur'an and the Bible are no indication that the former is in any sense the living Word of the Living God. The Qur'an is no more the God-breathed revelation than the statue of Lincoln in Washington, large and impressive though it may be,and however much it may resemble Honest Abe, is the man himself.

Muslims are indoctrinated at very early ages in their lives. They actually learn to recite the Koran but can hardly interpret what they read. They are good at adhering to specific ordinances and rules whereas issues of doctrine escape them. They hardly question whatever they are taught.

An extreme case I know is that of a muslim man in his 50's who can recite the Koran in Arabic but he can't communicate in that language nor understand what he's saying.

In their view, mercifulness overrides justice,* love does not include grace, forgiveness precludes atonement, and you can buy your way into heaven with good deeds.

(* --based on an experience at a Christian Message Board where a muslim questioned the Fall and the Redeeming Messiah by formulating that God could have 'mercifully' forgiven Adam, thus making the Curse and Jesus' Atonement totally superfluous as means of satisfying God's Justice.)

For further clarification that the QURAN corrects and adjust all biblical statements to correspond to true revelation which was corrupted please compare the story of joseph in the bible and in the QURAN to see and feel the strong presence of GOD in the QURANIC discourse and the total lack of it in the biblical narration.

How do you know that Genesis is a myth, and how do you know that what the Qu'ran says is true? Using your logic, could I not argue that Genesis is true, the Qu'ran is a myth, and Muhammad was a false prophet?

In order to accuse someone of deception, you need to prove that he/she intentionally reported the opposite of what they know to be true, and you have not produced any evidence of CMI doing such a thing. However, in your Islamic worldview, why would deception be wrong? Does not your own Qu'ran in Sura 3:54 call the god of Islam the "greatest of deceivers"? If the god you believe in lies, then why would lying be wrong? Also, in order for a lie to exist, absolute truth must exist first, as a lie is a deviation from the truth. If the god you worship is not absolutely truthful, then on what basis is anything true or false?

In order to perceive anything as a lie and in order to perceive deception as wrong, then you must borrow from the Biblical worldview, which says that God cannot lie (Titus 1:2), and that we shall not lie to one another (Levitiucs 19:11).
