Letters to the Editor

Jehovah’s witness creation

Dear Editor,

Thank you for the article, ‘How to talk creation with a Jehovah’s Witness’. Our doorstep has been well worn lately by Witnesses offering copies of The Watchtower. Although I have been able to raise questions in their minds as to the deity of Christ, it is difficult to get them to question their leaders and their leaders’ doctrines.

Your approach—to begin with creation (which is what God did!)—is novel to me and I am keen to use it. I found the most helpful part of the article to be the information provided by David Reed. So simple, so obvious, and yet so helpful.

Jail mail welcome

Dear Editor,

I am a prison inmate incarcerated for a crime I did not commit (a victim of unreliable and unscientific eyewitness identification) who wrote to you in the past for some material on creation science.

As a Christian, I have had a great deal of interest in this area for many years. I attended a number of lectures by Dr Don Chittick of Oregon in the 1970s. I am writing to thank whoever was responsible for sending me back-issues of Creation. I promptly read each issue and I am very impressed with the professional presentation and variety in each issue.

Since I don’t know who was responsible, I wish to thank everyone responsible for this badly needed counter to the evolution propaganda that pummels us from every side.

I make about $90 per month working in the prison industries, and I intend to subscribe to your magazine within the next month. Thank you, and God bless you all.
