Erin Hughes

Biography

Erin’s journey of faith began when a close friend challenged his evolutionary beliefs about the universe’s origins by presenting compelling creation arguments. This transformative encounter led Erin to accept the Lord Jesus Christ and sparked a passion for helping other Christians understand the significance of scriptural authority and the profound impact a proper understanding of the Creation/Gospel message can have on one’s life. Since then, Erin has dedicated himself to sharing the Good News of the Gospel, reaching out to hundreds of people through public creation evangelism.

For more than twelve years, Erin served as the Head of Events at CMI-US, where he led a team in organizing and executing over three hundred speaking events annually. Currently, he holds the position of Chief Executive Operating Officer at CMI-US in Atlanta, Georgia, overseeing the organization’s outreach and operations. Erin’s commitment to CMI began as a volunteer in his hometown of Cape Carteret, NC, before taking on more significant responsibilities within the organization.

In addition to his work with CMI, Erin actively serves his home church as an Elder, exemplifying his dedication to the Christian community. He is happily married to Louanna, and they are blessed with four children.
