The Bible says: 'The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom' (Psalm 111:10).

This year CMI-NZ has three national tours, featureing some of the hottest topics around.

  1. In March, geologist Dr Tas Walker will be speaking in the South Island.
  2. In August, US physicist and astronomer, Dr Don De Young will be in four of the main centres to promote the fantastic RATE breakthroughs demolishing radiometric dating.  The tour theme is the title of his wonderful layperson's book called Thousands, not Billions, which will no doubt create much controversy, as it targets dating methods and the age of the earth.
  3. Later in October, Gary Bates has an extensive tour planned, featuring his exciting new book Alien Intrusion: UFOs and the Evolution Connection.  This subject and his book has already captured the minds of huge numbers of people.

The bottom line is that our personal Destiny depends on our acceptance of what God actually says in His word—not what we feel free either to ignore or to read into it.

Recently, at a camp meeting a colleague pointed at the many tables piled high with books, DVDs, and other resources and said, 'Forty years ago, not one of these resources existed.  We have more tools and evidence to support what we believe than at any time of history.  It's an exciting time to be a Christian.'

Creation Ministries (New Zealand) are making a difference by helping people appreciate the reliability of God's Word.  Part of the measure of the effectiveness of Creation Ministries is seen in the rising tide of secular opposition from the media and some academics.

By connecting the Bible to the real world it enables people to see that the plain meaning of Scripture makes sense of the world. Many thanks for your involvement and support in this vital ministry.  We look forward to working alongside you again this year.
