Racism, Black Lives Matter, and the Darwin Connection

In the United States, activist groups such as Black Lives Matter have not only spoken out against racism, but they have also taken steps to pull down statues of those associated with slavery from the past. But could it be that Darwinism, and not slavery, was the justification for racism in the last century? Is the ‘cancel’ culture helpful? And what is the solution to racism?
