Biography

Stephen’s passion is to see people come to truly understand the richness and joy of a relationship with Christ and to equip people to serve the community and each other for the glory of God.

Stephen is married to Toni and they have two children, Matthew and Andrew. They have served together in pastoral ministry since 1996 in remote, rural and city churches and met at theological college in 1992. In 2005 they founded the Stanley River Valley Community Church in Woodford (QLD) which is now a multisite church operating in Woodford & Kilcoy.

Stephen enjoys 4WDing, camping and working on projects at home and he also serves as an Army Reserve Chaplain. Stephen has a Master of Arts in Ministry and Bachelor of Ministry from the Australian College of Theology; a Diploma of Theology (3 Year) from The Baptist Theological College of Queensland (now Malyon College) and a Diploma of Public Safety in Defence Chaplaincy.
