Dr Dianne Grocott MBBS., FRANZCP.
Psychiatrist
Dianne has an MBBS (1982) and gained Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists in 1989. She has worked in Community Mental Health clinics, Psychiatric hospitals and General Hospitals in the fields of psychiatry and medical administration. She completed a course in Integrated Christian Counselling at Waverley Abbey in the UK in 1993.
After 9 years of marriage to her husband Stephen (an industrial chemist), she finally responded to God's call (one week before Stephen!) and has spent the last 8 years infinitely more happily married. They have been blessed with three wonderful children (Jeremy, Rebekah and Patrick). Since they are both young, she has temporarily put away her shingle for a full-time role on the mission field of motherhood. Because she recognizes that her children are surrounded by a humanistic world (i.e. man has all the answers), she is an enthusiastic advocate for creation evangelism, and Creation Ministries International.
