New Telescope Findings Challenge Big Bang Theory

On Christmas Day, 2021, the world’s most powerful space telescope was launched. A joint effort between the North American and European Space Agencies (NASA and ESA), the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST)’s “primary aim is to shed light on our cosmic origins”.
So, how's the mission going? What discoveries has this multi-billion-dollar marvel of technology and engineering produced? Are the latest cosmic revelations consistent with the big bang model of the universe (as was widely predicted before JWST was launched)? Or has the data, in fact, contradicted that model?
