WHAT'S INCLUDED
All items below are included in the cost of your tour
- After supplying us your arrival time (should be no later than mid-afternoon on the commencement date of your tour), you will be met at Cairo International Airport (CAI) by representatives of our tour company, Egypt Luxor Tours. They will guide you through the process of obtaining your visa and then transport you in a private vehicle to our hotel in Cairo. We will begin on the evening of the first day of your tour with a welcome dinner at the hotel, followed by a presentation by Creation Ministries International (CMI) staff regarding the days ahead.
- All transfers to and from airports, to hotels (within your tour dates), to sites, and to the cruise ship by a modern air-conditioned vehicle (one big bus for every 30 to 35 people). Plenty of bottled water will be supplied on the coaches.
- Professional English-speaking guides and CMI staff with each group.
- All entrance fees to the historical sites and museums. This includes entrance fees inside Tutankhamun’s Tomb in the Valley of the Kings.
- Your domestic airfares from Cairo to Luxor, and Aswan to Cairo in economy class. (Yes, we are including your internal airfares!) 😉
- Top-quality accommodations at hotels in Cairo and Luxor, as well as aboard our Nile cruise boat.
- Breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided each day, beginning with dinner on day 1 of your tour through breakfast on day 10.
- Includes onboard presentations on Egyptology and creation information by CMI’s Gary Bates and others. You can share all mealtimes with CMI staff.
- Return via private transport to the airport on the last day of the tour. Note: there could be a shuttle fee for arriving/departing on any day other than the first/last day.
- All service charges and taxes. (However, tipping of guides and drivers is expected but not included.)
- Assistance for all guest relations during the trip.
Does not include
- International airfare to and from Cairo. Please schedule your arrival no later than mid-afternoon on the commencement date of your tour. Accommodations and meals are not included prior to dinner on day 1 and after breakfast on day 10, but we can help with arrangements for early arrivals or late departure. Contact us here.
- Travel insurance. We recommend you take out a personal policy that protects you in the event of cancelled flights, illness or injury, lost baggage, or other mishaps.
- Visa to be paid on arrival at Cairo International Airport, estimated to be USD $25 per person.
- Tips for local service staff, tour guides and drivers. This is a global standard for tour guides as they earn their income from tips. We recommend each guest reserve around $150 USD for tips throughout the tour. This will cover your guide, drivers, and cruise staff. CMI staff will collect tips at the tour’s conclusion.
- A few optional, bonus activities and excursions that our tour company may offer for an additional cost.
