In 1998 Ross graduated from University of Waikato with a B. Computing and Mathematic Sciences (First Class Honours) and worked in ICT for 10 years. While in Canberra, Australia, during a 7-month working stint in the year 2000, Ross watched a series of powerful CMI videos which made the ‘lights go on’. He realised that he had not placed his trust on the whole of Scripture, especially Genesis as real history. Thus began an interest in the creation/evolution controversy.
Ross joined Creation Ministries International (New Zealand) as an Events Manager in 2008, organising meetings across the country. Two years later he accepted the role of CEO for the NZ office, which he held for 11 years. In 2022, he moved across to Australia with his family to serve as Managing Director for Creation Ministries International (Australia).
Ross is married to Frances, and they have eight children which they homeschool.
