Please remember that Creation Ministries International's YouTube channel exists as a place for fans to come and learn more about biblical creation. Our desire is to have this as a fun and safe channel to visit. With this in mind, effective as of this posting, the following rules will apply, and repeated breaches or ignoring of these rules will be considered sufficient grounds for banning of comments on our channel.

  1. Creation.com has over 11,500 articles produced over 40+ years. The main purpose of our videos is to point people back to the wealth of information we've already produced, and thus to spread the message and its Kingdom impact further. Please look at what we've already published on a subject before posting questions here. The search box and topic page are good starting points: creation.com/qa#faqs. (If a question has not been addressed in the FAQ section and you would like a considered reply, we suggest sending us an email through the channels contact us section.)
  2. Please keep posts on-topic. Tangents and comments on topics outside our ministry mandate will be deleted by the moderators. This includes political or denominational distinctives.
  3. Though CMI's channel is primarily for fans, respectful disagreement is allowed, though people who disagree are directed to rule #1. We desire our channel to reflect both the love of Christ and the mind of Christ, so these attributes should be displayed in all interactions. We may allow limited discussions, but not an ongoing debate. Any attempt to turn this into an extended debate will be deleted by moderators.
  4. As per rule #3, posts are expected to deal with arguments, not people. Derogatory comments aimed at particular people or groups will be deleted. CMI produces information, and we expect commentors to deal with information, and not attack people for their views.
  5. Repetitive posting and other trolling actions will not be tolerated. Please also refrain from writing in all-capitals as in Netiquette, this is considered shouting. Posters are asked to restrain their comments to those which add to the topic under discussion and which relate to CMIs ministry focus. Also, please do not start a new thread in response to an existing one; reply in that thread.
  6. Posters will please refrain from replying to posts that are in violation of rules 4 and 5, and please instead report them so that they may be removed from the channel. When they are removed, all responses to those posts will also be removed.
  7. As the main purpose of our channel is to point people to creation.com, posters will please refrain from posting links to non-CMI material. For one thing, all CMI content has been multiply reviewed, while we can't vouch for the soundness of outside material.
  8. Commenters will please follow any directions moderators give with respect to posting on YouTube videos, such as refraining from posting on a subject a moderator has requested an end to comments on.

Commenting on CMI's videos indicates agreement to these rules and willingness to abide by them. Moderating decisions, including removal of links and comments from videos, are at CMIs sole discretion. We ask for your understanding that, though we will endeavor to be fair and consistent, having to explain or justify each such action would unnecessarily waste valuable ministry time.
